Thank you to all who supported & participated in our Windermere Foundation events this past year.

With your help, our agents, through our local Windermere Foundation, we able to present a check to the Arthur D. Curtis Children's Justice Center for $22,600. This was more than double our goal! Thank You!

Because of partners like Windermere the story of Fruit Valley is seeing a new chapter being written.

The Fruit Valley Family Resource Center seeks to provide tools and support for young families in the Fruit Valley neighborhood with the help of individuals, businesses and organizations who see themselves as part of the community at large. We are blessed to be a part of the work that is happening in this community which was historically wrought with poverty, crime and addiction. Because of partners like Windermere the story of Fruit Valley is seeing a new chapter being written.

There is much work to be done and change does not happen quickly, but it IS happening. Systems are being revised and rebuilt, families are being strengthened and encouraged, and hope....hope is growing. Families and children feel a community pulling for them; providing food when they are hungry, a bus pass to get them home from work, clothing, shelter, or sometimes just a cup of coffee and somewhere to go and be told that they are strong enough to go through the next door.

That's what you are doing. That's why we can't do this alone. That's why this story is not yet complete. Together we are cultivating community, challenging complacency and creating change. Everything you give; hats, gloves, peanut butter, cereal, pencils, shampoo and laundry soap, it all says one thing to a family in crisis - You are not alone. That is what you do, along with all of our partners, when you give selflessly, not caring who gets the credit, to people you may never meet. It humbles me to work alongside the likes of you.

My deepest thanks,
Staci Boehlke

Thank You Windermere Foundation

Thank you so much for this wonderful news -- the funds will be spent for a worthy cause (warm coats, shoes, and pants) for the students -- as the year moves forward I am finding more families that were "okay" last year, but have now run out of resources such as savings, etc. and are in need -- again a huge thank you to the fund for helping Hazel Dell's children.
