This year our local Windermere Foundation will be raising extra funds (in additional to our regular allocated funds) for the Arthur D. Curtis Children's Justice Center which helps abused children. Their mission is:
"We are a multidisciplinary team seeking the truth, protecting the rights of victims,
investigating and prosecuting child sexual/physical abuse, while attempting to minimize
trauma to victims and their families."
In 2012 we more than doubled our goal of $10,000. Thank you to all who helped make this happen. Our 2013 calendar of events should be available soon – so come back and visit.
